Interlaken overview

Situated between two of the most pristine lakes you are ever likely to see, Interlaken is best described as the surprise packet of Switzerland. Like a wondrous, real-life, adventure park, visitors can enjoy an action packed extravaganza of adventure-sports, including hang-gliding, bungee jumping, river rafting in summer; and skiing, snowboarding and night-sledding in winter. However, those travellers suffering from heart conditions or a sudden case of ‘fraidy-cat-itis’ needn’t feel excluded though, as Interlaken offers a range of attractions throughout its majestic cityscape.
